The young female dog sniffed the air, it smelt of the city- people, cars, and misery, for her atleast. She walked through the dark alley and laid down, paws under her head. The collar & leash were still attached, aswell as the worn and torn purple bandana and the muzzle that was put onto her face because she would often try to attack. Often she worried about that leash, any human could easily grap the end of it and yank her off the streets into a tiny apartment. She possibly couldn't survive alone. Do you dare approach her?

Welcome to the city, an overwhelming place it is, yes? This place is covered by a cloud of smog that looms over the dull city. No one here cares about all the stray dogs roaming the city, just a few, maybe. The only ones who care about them are the dogcatchers- seems to be one around every corner, waiting, ready to catch that unsuspecting dog and take them into the big white truck to be destroyed.
